Confined Space Basic Rescue (Practical Training)

Course duration: 16 hours
Introduction: This course adequacy is for professions interested in achieving some techniques, and practices of a basic rescue operations training.
Who should attend: This course suits permit-required confined spaces basic rescue aimed Employees, Technicians, Team Leaders, foremen, and safety and Health committees' members/supervisors.
Pre-requisite: Those exercised in Permit-Required Confined Space Entrance and/or who are working on various Industry fields will benefit this course.
At the end of this training course the trainees have to be able to:

  • Identify rescue hazards
  • Adapt basic vertical angle rescue rope techniques
  • Assess the victim's injuries and dangers presence
  • Extricate, package, and rescue a patient efficiently in a safe manner
  • Work in a safer brain storming environment

Program Training Methods:

  • Theoretical Sessions
  • Brain Storming Group Discussions and Evaluations
  • Practical Exercises

Supporting Equipments:
Full PPE, Tripod, Fall arrest system, First-Aid kit, Ventilation system, Oxygen and Combustible Gases Detector, means of communication, Stopwatch, LC projector,white board (with eraser), and markers (non-permanent) must exist, so effective interaction among attendants will be ensured during exercises and sessions.
Instruction Materials:
Summary data sheets will be provided to each attendant.
