teamThe success of any institution is a measure of the quality and ability of its management and workforce. At Reliance Jordan, we are proud of our staff’s reputation and performance in both Military and Commercial fields. A professional team with full understanding of the markets’ need, regional Governments regulations and business dynamics are all an essential ingredient to empower Reliance to enhance our clients’ ability to have a strong presence in the region in the most efficient & cost effective manner.


At the commercial level, Reliance team posses’ very good knowledge of international commercial treaties and foreign aids programs. They have worked, for many years, with Foreign Military Sales (FMS), EU agencies & companies, international Shipping Agencies. This experience we offer is unique and gives us a more comprehensive perspective as we have worked on both sides of the table (the service provider and the receiver). In addition, our team has very good knowledge of the USG and the Jordanian regulations that governs this relationship. All this makes Reliance Jordan stands out among the competition in its ability to penetrate the market without compromising integrity or professionalism.

Kamal Helmi (President)

kamalMr. Helmi, an Airforce ret. Col, has vast experience in Procurement and Supply. He Represented Jordan in Bahrain as a chief supply officer, and served at RJAF as a chief procurement officer, supplying equipments and spare parts to; ground equipment, power plants, transportations and general supplies. In 1995, Mr. Helmi established the first Aviation company that a decade later evolved into Reliance group of companies. His vision was to build a company that would revive the traditional work ethics and integrity yet offer high caliber products and services. A group that will help help the region by introducing new technologies, provide incubators for concept designs, raise Safety awareness through education, and put customer care and satisfaction as a priority. As Mr. Helmi always states “we may have not fully realized our goals yet, but we have covered much of the way.


Education: Mr. Helmi is a graduate from King Hussein Air College,
Procurement & Supply Courses, US Airforcs, RJAF.

Mohammad Awad Aeshan (Chief Executive Officer)

moh aeshanA former RJAF Col, Mr. Aeshan, a co-founder of Reliance gorup, is a visionary by nature. During his career at RJAF, he was among the special team that was selected to establish Royal Bruni Squadron, later worked with RJAF team to prepare the infrastructure for F-16 Fighter jets, Jordan acquaried early 2000. In the US, Mr. Aeshan held the position of a Director at National Computer Systems (NCS) in Iowa. At Reliance, his vision was to take the Group to the international Arena and this vision is being realised. He beleives Offering Good products and Services, Good Quality Managment Systems and employing loyal professionals and experts are ingreidents that should never fail any buiness to excell, even in the most difficult of environments.

Walid AbuShattal (Aviation Executive Director)

General (Rtd) Abushattal is backed by 27 years of experience in the aviation field. He held the position of CEO for Jordan Aeronautical Company (JAC), and guided it to become one the main Aircraft Maintenance facilities in the region. General Abushattal held many senior positions during his career as an officer at RJAF; Senior Foreign Liaison Officer of walidJordan to US Army Security Assistance Command USASAC, New Cumberland, PA; Chief of Aircraft Supply Branch, responsible of the procurement of all RJAF aircraft logistics (Spare Parts, Engines Overhaul, Ammunitions & Components Repair); Chief of Aircraft Maintenance Branch, and he has over a decades of hands on experience as a maintenance engineer. General Abushattal experience and input is an integral part of the success of the Aviation Department at Reliance Group in Jordan.

Naem Hawamdeh (Communication Executive Director)

naemGeneral (Rtd) Hawamdeh has over 25 years of experience as an officer at RJAF and Jordan Armed Forces. His friends call him Mr. Hawk, he spend over 15 years of his life working of the Hawk missile systems deployed around Jordan. Started as an electronic engineer at the missile workshop in Jordan and ended as the program managers working with US forces and US Companies providing supports and spare parts to the Hawk systems. In his last 5 years of service, General Hawamdeh held the position of Procurement and Study chief officer at The Planning and Studies Department/branch based at the Army Head Quarters. A department responsible to advice Joint Chief of Staff on procurement strategies. He Joined Reliance Group on 2008, Leading communication, government and military tenders. His experience and knowledge in military supply systems and connections to international companies is a great asset to Reliance Group.

Mahmoud Yahia (Administration Director)

MAHMOUDMahmoud has over 12 years experience in administration, human resources and management. His experience in Dubai with Al Sultan Industrial Cement U.A.E. and Al-Barak Electrical company enriched his experience. He joined Reliance Group on Jan. 2006, to manage our workforce and Sales personal. his work is pivotal at Reliance Group, he makes it possible for the rest of us to focus on our real task.

Sharon Harwood (Training Director)

sharoonMrs Harwood is an Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental specialist.
A safety consultant with a smile and a great instructor. Certified by NEBOSH, IOSH, NVQ programs and an OHSAS 18001 consultant. Sharon has played a key role in taking Reliance Way internationally; Reliance Way now offers courses and consultations in USA, China, Germany, Switzerland, MENA region.


Sharon, with her team of Quality management consultants and Auditors have complemented the Reliance Group work by offering to some of the group's clients quality management systems (QMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS), joint Construction Design and Management Co-coordinator (CDMC), such services added up to the quality image Reliance Group seeks to portray to clients.


Sharon, shares the Reliance way goal of raising Safety awareness in our region, her participation in Reliance Way Safety conference was the launching pad for this national/international effort.
